Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Atmospheric Science at Rutgers 
University. The Department of Environmental Sciences, Cook College, 
Rutgers University, invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty 
position, effective July 2006. Candidates for this position should be 
qualified in one of two areas: (1) synoptic or mesoscale meteorology 
with expertise in numerical modeling or observational diagnostics, or 
(2) atmospheric physics with expertise in radiation, aerosols, and/or 
cloud physics.  It is expected that the position will be filled at the 
level of Assistant Professor, although exceptional candidates at a 
higher academic level can be considered.  There is a possibility of 
filling positions in both areas, subject to approval from the 
University.  Applicants should demonstrate a potential for high-quality 
teaching as well as for developing a well-funded and nationally 
recognized research program.  Successful candidates will collaborate 
closely in the teaching and research programs of the Department of 
Environmental Sciences (http://envsci.rutgers.edu) and the Atmospheric 
Science Graduate Program (http://atmos.rutgers.edu).  A completed Ph.D. 
in meteorology, atmospheric science, physics, or equivalent is required 
and postdoctoral experience is desirable.  Qualified applicants should
