Atmospheric Science at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Colorado</st1:placename>

is seeking applicants for a tenure-track assistant or associate level
faculty
position broadly in the area of climate dynamics. The Department
encourages
applications from candidates with expertise in theory, modeling and/or
observations. Some preference will be given to candidates whose
research is in
the areas of global-scale atmospheric dynamics, atmosphere-ocean
interaction,
paleoclimate and atmospheric energy and water cycles.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style=""><span
 style="font-family: TimesNewRoman; color: black;">Applications from
candidates with research and
teaching interests that complement the department's existing programs
are
particularly encouraged. The successful candidate is expected to
maintain a
strong independent research program supported through external funding,
to
teach graduate-level courses, and to enhance the Department's
curriculum.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Applicants must demonstrate a strong potential for innovative
independent and
collaborative research and excellence in teaching and advising at the
graduate

atmospheric sciences or a closely related
