[Nsa] ESSL director search comments

To all NSA members:

Many of you may have been attending the seminars by the candidates for
ESSL director yesterday and today.  If so, you've had an opportunity to
compare the candidates' competence and vision based upon their presentations.
Even if you have not attended all the seminars, you may have views on the
candidates that you may want to share with the ESSL director search committee.

Dr. Jeff Kiehl, head of the search committee, has asked me for NSA
feedback about the candidates.  Although there is no time for a formal poll 
of
the NSA membership, you are still encouraged to submit any comments that 
you may
about the candidates, to Dr. Kiehl (jtkon at ucar.edu).

Note that, to be useful, your comments should reach Dr. Kiehl ASAP.
The search committee will be starting their final deliberations this 
afternoon, so
please send him your comments by the end of the day.
