As you may be aware, the finalists for the position of Director of ESSL
will be giving public seminars next week, as follows:

Monday, June 6

"Satellite Observations of Tropospheric Composition"

Tuesday, June 7

"Dynamos at Small Magnetic Prandtl Numbers using a Three-pronged
Methodology"

Tuesday, June 7

Dr. Brian Toon, University of Colorado
"Illustrations of Interactions between Life and the Atmosphere through
Earth History"

All seminars will be held in the Main Auditorium, Foothills Lab.

As a member of the NCAR science staff, you are encouraged to attend these
seminars and forward any comments that you may have to the chair of the
ESSL Director search committee, Dr. Jeff Kiehl (jtkon at ucar.edu)
