Call for Proposals from the NCAR Staff
2006 ASP Summer Colloquium

Deadline: 31 August 2005

ASP invites proposals from the NCAR staff for the annual summer colloquium 
topic for 2006.  Each summer, ASP hosts a colloquium designed for graduate 
students. We favor subjects that represent new or rapidly developing areas 
of research for which good course material may not yet be available. The 
colloquium brings together lecturers and graduate students for two weeks, 
normally in Boulder, for classroom presentations and other forms of 
instruction and interaction. ASP provides support for the costs of the 
meeting, typically for about 25 participants plus speakers.

Your proposal should be a 1-2 page document that includes a description and 
justification of your proposal.  Questions and proposals can be referred to
