[ncl-talk] Suggestion needed: calculating correlations, etc

Hi:

I have observations and model forecasts. They vary as: (time, lon, lat).

I'd like to calculate the correlation coefficient (r) between them and
whether the linear relationship is significant at some level.

I have another set of model forecasts, with exactly the same attributes.

I'd like to know if the distributions from the first model forecast are
statistically different from the other.

Could someone please recommend the NCL packages I need to make these
calculations, tests.

There's a lot of choices, and I don't want to choose incorrectly.

Thank you,

Barry
