[ncl-talk] Vertical Velocity

Hi,

I am trying to find the vertical velocity from U and V wind components at 
pressure level but I am not getting any values over land. I have used the 
equation 
  
 w(p2) = w(p1) + del(p)(div(p2)+div(p1)/2) 

I have used  uv2dv_cfd ncl function to find out the divergence from U and V 
components. Please help me in this regards.
