[ncl-talk] Low resolution outlines

I am trying to get low resolution outlines on a map plot.  I need
continental outlines, country outlines, and US state outlines all together.

I tried several combinations, but everything that enables state outlines
also seems to change the coastlines to medium or high resolution.  How can
I achieve all low resolution outlines from the original Ncarg4_0 database,
without resorting to shape files?

  res at mpDataBaseVersion = "Ncarg4_0"

;  res at mpOutlineBoundarySets = "geophysicalandusstates"
;  res at mpOutlineBoundarySets = "USStates"
  res at mpOutlineSpecifiers = "USStatesLand"

I am running NCL 6.3.0 on Mac OS Yosemite.  Thanks for your help.
