Hi Adam,

Thanks for your help. I found the subroutine in

http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/models/cesm1.2/cesm/cesmBbrowser/html_code/pop/diagnostics.F90.html

So, i'll try to implement in NCL. It could be also used as a shared 
library using WRAPIT. Anyway, thanks again.
