[ncl-install] Cannot install NCL 5.2.0 binaries on RHEL 4 while 5.1.x did work before

Hi Christian,

I have a limited subset of Linux systems that I can build on.  What binary did you download,
and what does the following report on your system?

   gcc --version
   gfortran --version

I might be able to find another binary that would work on your system.
