Dear Colleagues,

The NCAR Early Career Scientists Assembly will present a workshop:

How to Write Successful Proposals:

Wednesday, May 12th 2010, 9-11a, FL2-1022 (Foothills Lab, Main Seminar
Room)

The workshop will feature:
	(a) A presentation on proposal writing by Al Cooper, who has been
both PI and Program Manager (9-9:45a)
	(b) A discussion by the NCAR Budget and Planning office on the NCAR
proposal process (9:45-10:15a)
	(c) A question and answer discussion session on proposal writing and
the NCAR process (10:15-11a)

This workshop is open to all members of the UCAR community, so please
pass this announcement around. We encourage participation by (a) those
who want to write more successful proposals, (b) those with questions
on the proposal process, (c) those who would like to share thoughts on
writing proposals with other colleagues and (d) anyone with thoughts
about the NCAR proposal submission process.

Please note that the discussion session will also focus on any
concerns or questions people may have with the proposal writing and
submission process to help inform discussions with the President's
Advisory Committee on University Relations (PACUR), the group that
reviews NCAR proposal submissions.
