[Grad-postdoc-assn] sendoff social for Ankur, Mike, and Kristen, Thur July 19, 6pm

Hello All,

just a reminder that we'll be having a send-off social this Thursday at 
6pm at the Hungry Toad Restaurant (2543 North Broadway, 
http://www.thehungrytoad.com/). Ankur also will be leaving shortly, 
before our August social, so the Thursday gathering is also going to 
toast him and his family off and to help steel them for the "wild and 
wooly" north (aka U of Wisc).

If you think you'll be able to make it and haven't RSVP'd, please do so 
as soon as you can so we can reserve space by either contacting Tom

p.s. while we're currently sifting through the hundreds, and hundreds of 
applicants who want to co-chair the prestigious "grad-postdoc-assn 
informal social committee", we think we still might be able to review a 
few more applications. So if you've lately been having a strong, 
unexplained urge to send out a few emails once a month encouraging folks 
from the NCAR grad-postdoc association to go out to a local venue for 
some informal, relaxed socializing, then I think we have an outlet for you!
