3. Travel Grants Available to attend the SCAR Open Science Conference

Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research Open Science Conference
12-14 July 2006, Hobart, Tasmania

Applications are now being accepted for travel grants to the Scientific
Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) Open Science Conference that will
be held in Hobart, Tasmania, from 12-14 July 2006. Applications are sought
from students, post-doctoral researchers, and investigators at U.S.
institutions for partial travel support for expenses to participate. Young
investigators, students, and members of underrepresented groups are
especially encouraged to apply.

Application Deadline: Tuesday, 28 February 2006.
