ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Department of Natural and Applied Sciences at the University of
Wisconsin-Green Bay invites applications for a one-year Lecturer position in
geoscience and environmental science.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

.        Teach courses, including labs, in geoscience, environmental
science, water science, and/or environmental science and policy.

.        Hold weekly office hours and advise students.


QUALIFICATIONS:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

.        Master's Degree in soil science, geoscience, environmental science,
Earth science, environmental chemistry, or related field from an accredited
institution at time of application

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

.        Ph.D. in soil science, geoscience, environmental science, Earth
science, environmental chemistry, or related field from an accredited
institution

.        Teaching and mentoring experience

.        Background in soil science, environmental chemistry, hydrogeology,
and/or environmental science

The successful candidate will have strong oral, written, interpersonal, and
organizational skills, the ability to communicate with a diverse student
population, demonstrated integrity and strong leadership, and the
willingness to be part of a collaborative team. The University welcomes

SPECIAL NOTES:


Position is a full-time, temporary, one-year Academic Staff appointment.
Official transcripts of the highest degree achieved will be required of
finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the

Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor
