The Department of Geology at Kansas State University invites applications
for a post-doctoral position for up to two years beginning in August 2017.
The successful candidate’s research will emphasize energy resources.
Anticipated areas of specialization could include at least one of the
following: petrophysics, geomechanics, sequence stratigraphy, basin
analysis, seismic lithology prediction and AVO analysis, land seismic data
acquisition and processing. Research that interfaces with the broad area of
petroleum geology and hydrocarbon-exploration geophysics is highly
desirable.
