Northland College is an environmentally-committed college on the shores of
Lake Superior. The Environmental Science Program at the College invites
dynamic and proven educators to apply for a tenure-track assistant
professor position in Atmospheric and Climate Science.

The teaching load will consist of six courses per year in atmospheric and
climate science, such as meteorology, oceanography, climate science, and
courses in the area of the candidate's expertise. The successful applicant
must demonstrate 1) a commitment to the liberal arts and the ability to
teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds, 2) service
to the college and the community, and 3) scholarly work that provides
research opportunities for undergraduates.

A PhD (conferred by August 2017) in climate science, atmospheric science,
meteorology, or related field is required. Official transcripts will be
