Duration of Contract: Fixed term post for 18 months with possibility of
extension

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated scientist to
contribute to ongoing national and international projects on air quality
forecasting and analysis of atmospheric processes that influence air
quality and atmospheric composition on multiple scales. While this post
is initially available for 18 months, we will expect to continue the
post depending on availability of funding.

You must have a good first degree in a relevant science subject (e.g.
Physics, Mathematics or Meteorology) and a PhD in a topic related to
atmospheric process modelling including a theoretical understanding of
boundary layer physics, dynamics and transformation processes. You will
have strong experience in the development and/or use of advanced
atmospheric models (e.g. WRF-CMAQ or WRF-Chem). You may also have some
experience in the use of laboratory and field observations for
atmospheric process analysis or use of modelling for investigating
interactions between atmospheric composition and climate. In addition to
having excellent communication skills, you will have a strong commitment
