generous gift, the position is associated with significant annual earnings
generated from the endowment. As such, the endowment could fund additional

for teaching across the undergraduate and graduate curriculum. LSU is

Required Qualifications:  Ph.D. or equivalent degree in geological sciences
or other relevant disciplines; a strong record of published research, and
