Plans for seeing the Starship Troy tonight have been postponed.  We
are going to reschedule another night.

Two items regarding the ASA in the news.

In anticipation of the the JSM this summer, the most recent issue of
AMSTAT News contains an article describing the history of Denver.
This article was written by Brian Wien and Gary Zerbe with suggestions
from other chapter members.   In coming months, several other articles
about Denver and written by chapter members will appear.

The Journal of the American Statistical Association and the ASA  and
logo are featured in and article on the front page of the January 10th
issue of the Onion.  I can't vouch for the accuracy of the article,
nor am I going to try to describe it.
