[Wrf-users] nearly zero precipitation band near the domain boundary

I noticed a nearly zero precipitation band near the domain boundary from WRF output:
              
I actually noticed this for a long time and assumed normal. 


Could anybody explain the reason? 
My namelist is at http://www.caps.ou.edu/micronet/WRF-UCM/FocusON_OKC/WRFV3.7.1/YSU/wrfNCEP_DOE5dWSM6_UCM.2005060100/namelist.input_2005-06-01_00:00
