Hi, 2,048 is no problem. I invite you to look at our benchmarking page
http://weather.arsc.edu/WRFBenchmarking/
for some test cases, and we'd enjoy getting your results.
I've used 10,000 cores, and at the level, the limitation is that the rsl.*
files only have four digits for the task number, so you need to go into the
code and change that.
