Dear all,

I have made vertical and horizontal wind velocity pertubation diagrams, replicas of those found on the WRF website: http://www.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/OnLineTutorial/Graphics/NCL/Examples/wrf_Hill2d.htm

When plotting streamlines I find I have to divide the horizontal wind velocity by 100 so that 'u' and 'w' are comparable - does anyone know why this is?
