Hi,

Impact Forecasting, LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of Aon Corporation is 
looking for an individual to join its research and development group.

Position:         RESEARCH ANALYST 
Research analyst working in the field of atmospheric research with an 
emphasis on wind related phenomenon such as winter storms or tropical 
cyclones. The individual is expected to contribute to the development of 
meso-scale modeling capabilities using numerical weather prediction 
models. Must have knowledge and ability working with the numerical weather 
prediction model WRF (weather research and forecasting model).
Duties: 
Atmospheric modeling using numerical weather prediction software WRF. 
Research duties include set up, runs, and data compilation of input and 
output information from numerical models.  Individual must have an 
understanding of statistical downscaling techniques. 
Education:   Masters of Science or Ph.D. in Meteorology or Atmospheric 
Sciences or in similar Engineering field. 
Work experience required:  Must have working knowledge and experience with 
numerical weather prediction models.
Skills Required: 
In addition to experience with numerical weather prediction models, 
individual must have excellent skills with MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS 
Excel, MS Access, MS Powerpoint).  Excellent communication skills are 
required.
