[Wrf-users] Difficulty with hires topo and landuse data in geogrid V3.1

Hi,

We have a 3-arcsecond topography dataset derived from SRTM data, and a  
1-arcsecond landuse dataset derived from the NLCD 2001 dataset.  We  
have used these for some time quite successfully in the V3.0 version  
of geogrid.  However, using identical namelist.wps, GEOGRID.TBL, and  
index files for the datasets, we cannot get it to work with V3.1 of  
geogrid.  The standard output and geogrid.log files indicate no  
problems, but the geo_em.d0X.nc files show all zeros for HGT_M and all  
16s for LU_INDEX (over land).

Has anyone encountered a similar problem going from geogrid 3.0 to 3.1?

Is there some new requirement in GEOGRID.TBL or the index file  
necesarry to make things work in geogrid V3.1?

I've attached the namelist.wps, GEOGRID.TBL, and index files.
