Aaron Sims is correct. For WRF 3.0 and netCDF 3.6 or later versions,
you can set
environment variable WRFIO_NCD_LARGE_FILE_SUPPORT before you compile,
and this will
modify the WRF netCDF IO routine to use the call for netCDF large file
support.
