Dear WRF Users,
Hi... my name is Alberto Corbí, a spanish future PhD on marine-
atmospheric sciences. I'm currently studying at the Saint Vicent's
Catholic University of Valencia and before being here, studied physics
at the University of Valencia.
My PhD thesis has with wind driven oceanic currents to do and since
the beginning I decided to make use of WRF and Mac OS X (in which I
consider myself to be a keen programer in Cocoa/ObjectiveC).
It took me a while to have WRF/WPS compiled with the g95 compiler...
but I succeeded in the end and I started thinking: why not releasing
this distribution to the public? And so I've done. I'm planing to
deliver my binaries to everybody interested.
It'd be a pleasure if you could take a look and/or promote the DRAMM
project (Desktop Regional Atmospheric Model for Mac). It's home page:
http://rgl.ucv.es/dramm
DRAMM is kindly hosted at the web server of the Remote Sensing Network
for Seashore Risk Prevention.
I currently only provide binaries for Intel Macintoshes running Leopard.
Anyway, just tell me what you think. I appreciate your opinion so
much...
Best regards from Spain, Alberto.
