Hi all,
I am another one encountered the similar issue.
My 15km/5km Tropical Cyclone landfall auto move nest case become
unstable with mp=2(Lin et al) like
Timing for main: time 2005-10-02_09:31:30 on domain 2: 6.02100 elapsed
seconds.
2005-10-02_09:31:30 vortex center (in nest x and y): 49.02061
51.36514
2005-10-02_09:31:30 grid center (in nest x and y): 50.00000
50.00000
2005-10-02_09:31:30 disp : -0.9793892 1.365143
2005-10-02_09:31:30 move (rel cd) : 0 0
Timing for main: time 2005-10-02_09:31:30 on domain 1: 28.20500 elapsed
seconds.
5336 points exceeded cfl=2 in domain 2 at time
33.53333 hours
MAX AT i,j,k: 98 81 30
cfl,w,d(eta)= NaN 7.4782795E-03 2.1000000E-02
Timing for main: time 2005-10-02_09:32:00 on domain 2: 18.47500 elapsed
seconds.
13050 points exceeded cfl=2 in domain 2 at time
33.54167 hours
Reducing time step length to 75s or changing gird res to 18km/6km seems
no help.
But with mp=6(wsm6), it seems ok.
Any further comment would be appreciated.
