[Proflist] New Educational Materials about Paleoclimatology

The COMET program (www.comet.ucar.edu) and a group of paleoclimatologists
at the National Center for Atmospheric Research are starting work on a new
Web-based multimedia learning module about the past climate system for
undergraduate science teachers and students.  This module will include
visualizations and interactive exercises that are designed to engage
students and raise interest in paleoclimatology.  These materials will be
produced by fall 2004.

We need your help in planning these materials to make sure the end product
is useful for both teachers and students.  If you can, please take several
minutes to complete a short survey at:

Your input will be used to select content matter, prerequisites,
and the best structure for student exercises.
