Dear NSA,

The Scientific Appointment Modernization (SAM) project
<https://sundog.ucar.edu/Interact/Pages/Section/ContentListing.aspx?subsection=3724>
is currently wrapping up the Ideation Phase with an all staff engagement
opportunity. This opportunity is divided into two parts: a Town Hall and a
Listening Session. This Town Hall session will be focused on sharing
information with attendees in advance of the next round of SAM Listening
Sessions. The Listening Sessions will then be a place for active
discussions about the SAM ideas within the NCAR/ UCP Scientific Community.
Please encourage staff to attend the Town Hall and one Listening Session so
that everyone is given the opportunity to provide input on the SAM top
ideas. The Town Hall will be recorded and the recording will be shared
prior to the first Listening Session for those who are unable to attend. The
Listening Sessions will not be recorded.

The Town Hall will occur on May 25th at 9 am MDT

is followed by two listening sessions (registration is required to attend a

Staff should only attend one listening session.

Please encourage scientific staff to participate in this engagement
opportunity. This is their opportunity to engage and share feedback on the
ideas that are currently under consideration by the SAM Co-Design Team.

Please let us or the SAM co-design committee co-chairs (Sarah Tessendorf -
saraht at ucar.edu and Mike Wiltberger - wiltbemj at ucar.edu) know if you have
any questions.

Sincerely,

The NSA-EC <https://internal-ncar.ucar.edu/nsa/nsa-executive-committee>
