[Nsa] Invitation and Save the Date for Latinx Engagement Focus Group

Hi Everyone,



I hope you had a great weekend, and if you’re attending AGU (in person or
virtually) I hope you have a great meeting!



I am writing to invite you to save the date and register

to participate in a focus group as part of our UCAR President’s Strategic
Initiative Fund project “Creating a cross-institution strategy to
effectively engage with Latinx/Hispanic Communities,” on Thursday, January
6th from 2:00-3:00pm MT. Our last attempt to host this meeting didn’t work
out, so we have selected a new day and time. Please register by Tuesday,
Jan 4th.



This focus group supplements the survey that was sent out back in November.
(Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey!) Please note that
even if you weren’t able to take the survey, you can still participate in
the focus group. Your feedback will be anonymously compiled into a report
by our evaluator.



Some of the goals for the focus group are to gather more insight on how you
arrived at your position at NCAR/UCAR/UCP, increasing visibility of our
institution, and the role of education and outreach in engaging with
Latinx/Hispanic communities.
