[ncl-talk] My NCL can not read shapefiles

Dear NCL team,

I am trying to mask my geo data from WPS (WRF model) with a shapefile but
my NCL can not read any shapefiles. As soon as I even ask it to read the
shapefile it shows " Can not open file <gadm40_IND_0.shp>; file format not
supported or file is corrupted"
I tried different shapefiles and sample ones from the website and I still
keep getting this error.
Can you please help me to understand the problem and solve it?
