[ncl-talk] ncl install

Hi Debasish

A possible solution would be "yum install gfortran".
However, ou seem to have CentOS 6, which is already end of life (EOL).
It will be hard to get the required gfortran packages,
because the package repositories are no longer there.

So, could either upgrade your system to a newer distribution/version,
or install NCL using conda, as Joseph suggested.
That is not hard, and you can install as a regular user, no need to be root.

I hope this helps,
Gus
