Hello,

Two approaches:

[1]
(a) Go to NCAR's *Climate Data Guide * <https://climatedataguide.ucar.edu/>
(b) search for *SOI*
(c) It will take you to:
*https://climatedataguide.ucar.edu/climate-data/southern-oscillation-indices-signal-noise-and-tahitidarwin-slp-soi*
<https://climatedataguide.ucar.edu/climate-data/southern-oscillation-indices-signal-noise-and-tahitidarwin-slp-soi>
(d) Click the *"Get Data (CGD)"*
*(*e) The *SOI.nc* file can be downloaded from there.

ftp ftp.cgd.ucar.edu
anonymous
your_email
cd pub/shea
get SOI.nc
quit
