[ncl-talk] Failing to open WRF file

Rick , You have solved my problem. The solution is
lat2d    = wrf_user_getvar(a,"XLAT",-1)
lon2d    = wrf_user_getvar(a,"XLONG", -1)
I am able to produce the graphic.
