[ncl-talk] curl function

Dear NCL users,

I am trying to calculate the z component of the wind stress curl (tauu and
tauv).
Z component of wind stress Curl = (d(tauv)/dx) -(d(tauu)/dy)
what is the best way to calculate curl?
is there a function for calculating curl or derivative?
