Hello Lyndz,

If I understand your problem correctly, you want the r: r=rsat(T).
1) mixhum_ptrh, and set RH to 100%
https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Functions/Built-in/mixhum_ptrh.shtml
2) for the most accurate of the algorithms on NCL, I would use:
https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Functions/Contributed/pot_temp_equiv_tlcl.shtml
https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Functions/Contributed/tlcl_td_bolton.shtml

There is an error in accuracy, especially as EPTsat is hotter than EPT, when using the one listed in your email.

Dear NCL experts,

I am using the following function to compute the equivalent potential temperature:
https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Functions/Contributed/pot_temp_equiv.shtml

I would like to ask if there is a similar function (or an alternative way) for computing "saturated equivalent potential temperature".

I'll appreciate any help,

Sincerely,
Lyndz
