[ncl-talk] use a function that returns type of "obj" in a do-loop structure

Hi,
    I use a function that returns type of "obj" in a do-loop structure. The type "obj" seems erroneous to be defined compared with an array/variable consists of float or graphic, so is there a solution? I'll appreciate it if anyone offers help!
