[ncl-talk] correlation coefficient calculation

Hello all,
Would someone please let know if its possible to make a one correlation coefficient  map
at each grid cell between temperatures and precipitation from many simulations (e.g.8) meaning (N = number of experiments).

One way may be to loop all temperatures and save into an array. and the same for precipitation.
Than using the escorc function perform correlation on all the collective temperatures and precipitations.

Is the first correct or perhaps there is another way?
