[ncl-talk] ttest and rtest

Hello

I would like to see the significance between NAO and T2m (temperature) after regression but i am not sure which function is appropriate, the t test or the rtest?

Normally i use 

eof_regres(ne,:,:)=(/ regCoef(eof_ts(ne,:), t2mw(lat|:,lon|:,time|:)) /);

Could someone please advice on this?
The same goes for when i look and plot the trends for example in temperature [1950-2000] and try to stipple the significance values; 
The ttest on NCL website shows ttest carried out on 2 variables and not on one.
