[ncl-talk] area calculation from shapefile to convert m/s into m3/s

​Hello

I am trying to get precipitation average over the shapefile basin area which is in m/s. However, i need conversion of m3/s and in order to do this i need calculation of Area.

Could anyone tell me how to extract the area units from a given shapefile whereby i get m3/s=m/s *AREA [m2]
