Hi Carl Schreck,
I have an accurate fast algorithm treatment of theta_e using NCL WRAPIT to call Fortran code. I am communicating with Dennis Shea about the possibility of a NCL version. The issue is that my version has a specific treatment for the mixing ratio. I am testing to see if I can use the framework that’s within NCL.
In the meantime, I have attached the HumanIndexMod which has the Fortran code, and a basic ncl call script.
