[ncl-talk] x-axis time format

Hi,

I want a xy plot with time in the xaxis. But the variable has the time in
this format at regular intervals :

(0)     2016090100
(1)     2016090103
(2)     2016090106
(3)     2016090109
(4)     2016090112
(5)     2016090115
(6)     2016090118
(7)     2016090121
(8)     2016090200
(9)     2016090203
......

(485)   2016103115
(486)   2016103118
(487)   2016103121

How do I plot xaxis with just day and hour information at certain intervals
in the plot. Any help is apprciated.
