[ncl-talk] removal of band

Hi all. I am plotting surface rainfall from the TRMM 2A25 data and getting a band like structure. The rf is plotted in in the range starting as low as 0.001 mm. but still the band like structure comes. 
Can someone suggest how to handle this.
