Amit,
I would suggest you to read carefully the example page (http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/panel.shtml <http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/panel.shtml>).
You just need to assign a unique graphic identifier (e.g. plot(0), plot(1) or first_plot, second_plot) to a plot and then use them when calling the gsn_panel function.
