[ncl-talk] Help with processing Terra+Aqua combined leaf area index product

I will need to compute the monthly mean Terra+Aqua combined leaf area
index (LAI) for the area of interest and then output the LAI data as
well as the lat/lon data in Ascii format. I am not quite sure how I
can do this since for the area of interest I have multiple files with
different tile identifiers. For example, for August 5, 2015, I have
the following files:

I am wondering if someone has ever done this or has any suggestions as
to how to read the LAI data out and then do the monthly averaging over
multiple tiles and also get the lat/lon of each grid point.
