[ncl-talk] Taylor Diagram

  Hi All,

I want to plot Taylor Diagram for CMIP5 models as part of my project.

To plot Taylor diagram using function 'taylor_diagram' we need to calculate
standardized variances and pattern correlations.

 Can we use ncl functions like 'variance' and 'pattern_cor' to provide
input to function 'taylor_diagram'?

I will regrid data, then calculate climatology and then use 'variance' and
'pattern_cor'  function to provide input for 'taylor_diagram' function. Is
this procedure correct?
