[ncl-install] Which binaries to install on MacBook Pro macOS High Sierra 10.13.2?

I am in the process of installing NCL 6.4.0 on my new MacBook Pro. I've
looked at the precompiled not OPeNDAP-enabled binaries on
http://www.earthsystemgrid.org, but the latest version of macOS listed is
10.12 (ncl_ncarg-6.4.0-MacOS_10.12_64bit_nodap_gnu530.tar.gz).

I have version 10.13.2 High Sierra, gcc 6.3.0, and x86_64.

Will the 10.12 version of the binary work on the newer OS?
