Dear Mart,
Thank you so much. It looks like I’m set to use NCL. Right now my plan is to use NCL for analysis of Standard Precipitation Index (SPI) over multiple time step and spatial pattern in my research area. The fact that I did not use NCL before at all, I’m contepleting how to go about this analysis. I am intending to use monthly precipitation data generated by CRU in NetCDF file.
I wonder how you can help me with this. I seek help on this badly. If there are examples of scripts.
Thank you again
Dawit

Test commands did not return an Error message but as per the instruction indicated on "http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/conda.shtml <http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/conda.shtml>” the second test command did not return the "xy05n.png" PNG image. What is the problem?
