[ncl-install] Path not getting set

Dear NCL,

My .bashrc files reads as the following:-

# Set architecture flags
export NCARG_ROOT=/usr/local/bin/ncl-6.1.0
# Ensure user-installed binaries take precedence
export PATH=/usr/local/bin:$PATH
# Load .bashrc if it exists
test -f ~/.bashrc && source ~/.bashrc

export DISPLAY=:0.0
export DISPLAY=128.117.14.12.0
export DISPLAY=localhost:13.0

I also have downloaded ncl_ncarg-6.1.0.MacOS_10.6_i386_64bit_gcc460
I created a file ncl-6.1.0 and unzipped the above mentioned file in it and
still it says path not set where am I going wrong
