Mariama,
It's possible that either the lines you added to your .bashrc file are
incorrectly typed, or the .bashrc is not being seen when you login. You
might try using a .bash_profile or .profile file, if you have one.
To help me troubleshoot this, open a Cygwin window, type the following
commands, and email the output to ncl-install:
env | grep NCARG
echo $PATH
which ncl
